Day to Evening look

Hello all,
Lately, I've been thinking of new ideas for some new biog posts, as i think doing review after review is not where i really want my blog to go, don't get me wrong, i follow a lot of blogs that do this already, its just, its not the direction i see my blog going in if I'm honest. So I've been thinking about what other posts i could do that would be interesting to write, post and for others to also read, and I've come up with some ideas.. I'm actually loving 1 or 2 of the ideas I've had, so i cant wait to start posting them up for you guys to see.

However, for today I'm just going to do a Day to Evening Look. How you can transform your every day make up and jazz it up a bit for a night time look.

P.S - Please ignore the eyebrows as I'm in the process of growing them out so they are very untamed! :P Teehee.

For the Day Look, i used:

My make up on a day to day basis is very simple, as it has to be done quite quick in the mornings and as i work with kids, there is never a sure fire sign that the make up i leave the house with in the morning will be the same make up i return home in the evening with. Especially not in all the right places anyway! I have been loving wearing Coral lipstick shades on my lips recently, and the one I'm wearing in my day look is fast becoming one of my favourites, it is creamy yet matte but lasts so long on my lips and without any dry patches that you might get with other matte lipsticks, my cheeks are simple with a little shimmer blush to add some colour and as for my eyes, i went for a simple pink, as it matched my jumper, my earrings and my nails, but usually any neutral colour will generally make me happy though.

My make up for an evening look, changes a slight bit, it gets more darker, the cheeks get more colour added to them, and the lips go darker. The lipstick I'm wearing in the evening is by far one of my most creamy lipsticks, its kind of a vampy look that draws attention too. The eyes have more mascara piled on, and liquid eyeliner on top too, just to add more drama to the eyes and the hair gets pulled back so that you can see my cheekbones (Which everyone always says they love). I used my Urban Decay Naked 2 palette for my eyes and created a smokey eye but without using any blacks, opting instead for some shades of browns and lighter shades near the corners of the eye, finish off with some colour near the eyebrow bone and your good to go.

*This is not the dramatic evening make up i wear every time i go out in the evenings, i like to mix it up, sometimes opting for red lips and sometimes pink.. but its one of my favourite looks to wear out on the town weather with my girls or on date nights*

*As for the day look, it pretty much is me through out the whole of the working week, as its quick, simple and adds little bits of colour here and there*
